Ingie Chalhoub, President and Managing Director of Etoile Group and Creative Director of Ingie Paris, has once again been featured in the CEO Middle East magazine’s list of the 100 Most Powerful Arab Women.
This is the fourth year successively that Ingie Chalhoub has been highlighted within this prestigious list, voted within the most powerful in the retail sector.
CEO Middle East examined the influence of female Arabs across all industries to have an ultimate list on the power of Arab women, covering all sectors from banking and finance, law, government, construction, arts, science, healthcare, media, transports, IT, culture and society, energy, entertainment and sports.
Spearheading the fashion powerhouse since establishing the operation in 1983 and managing the region’s leading bespoke luxury retail authority, the Etoile Group, Ingie Chalhoub has brought over 200 international ultra-luxury brands to the region. Among those names are Chanel, Valentino, Ralph Lauren, Tod’s, and Hogan to mention just a few. Ingie now operates over 60 high-end fashion boutiques across six countries.
In 2009 Ingie embraced a new challenge launching her own couture label INGIE Paris, that grew from a capsule to a complete collection featuring knitwear, jewels and accessories. In 2013 she opened its first flagship boutique in Kuwait at Prestige - The Avenues. Since 2014 INGIE Paris is distributed outside the GCC region in a series of luxury boutiques in France, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic and Russia.
