NEXT SS15 COLLECTION LAUNCH

NEXT Dubai has finally launched their Spring - Summer 2015 collection last 10th of February at The Dubai Mall, they showcase the collection in a mini- fashion show from Menswear, Womenswear and Children's wear that we all adore. They started with casual wear and end to my most favorite style the office/evening wear, very chic and classic looks.
Spring 15 has introduced an abundance of colour, print and pattern. 60s trends are one of the key influences, with tweaks and updates to detailing and styles, giving a serious modern edge. The collection allows the man of today to appear dapper and of the moment.

New Wave sees 1960s après surfwear given a contemporary update for a relaxed casualwear story. Strong vintage colours are softened with sun-faded & seaspray wash effects. The season’s key look is slouchy crew necks layered over printed tees, combined with chino shorts and Harrington jackets.
Urban based story Primitive Tech takes influences from functional, performance wear and combines them with bold, angular graphic prints inspired by the Vorticist art movement. Focusing on a colour palette of blacks and greys, pops of lime green and aqua give it that fresh, spring identity.

Formalwear takes a new direction for Spring, as demonstrated in our new story The Futurists. The tailoring style is kept minimal and slim, with trousers grazing the ankle and shirts making a statement in busy prints.
Next unveils a forward-thinking collection for Spring 15, mixing key floral, botanical prints and poster paint shades. Texture is a must across clothing and accessories, with laser cut detailing, fringing and embossing appearing in abundance.

It was all about bold florals on the catwalk for Spring 15 in a colour palette of green, coral, yellow and white throughout the Bloom collection. Spring Greens sees a continuation of the floral trend, with botanical prints of the great outdoors adorning bomber jackets, tapered trousers and jumpsuits.

Folk Fusion sees strong bohemian influences, with fringing, delicate embroidery and Aztec prints. Fringing had a strong presence across the shows and is reflected throughout this story in the form of leather bags and statement tasseled-edge cardigans creating an effortless on-trend look.

Japanais sees bold graphic stripes and geo prints on softly tailored, wearable pieces. Culottes once again are the trouser shape of the season, but with wide, loosely-tailored versions paired with Breton striped tops and blouses, creating a more transitional look.
Spring has officially sprung in the See You Soon collection for older and younger girls. Luscious green, bright yellow and cool blue colours make this Spring trend fresh and youthful. Bold lemon prints repeated over casual jersey tops, pretty dresses and rain macs are suited to the casual every day girl.

For girls who love the relaxed, fun tomboy style need look no further! They are going to love the Chalk Board story with amusing prints from rainbows to brightly coloured animals; this collection is full of beans.

Calling all stylish little girls! Floral prints, dressed back with modern silhouettes give Silver Lining a feminine, yet edgy look. Soft pinks combined with a mono palette and metallic tones give the beautiful pink story a current feel.

Bold statement prints inspired from kaleidoscopes, pop art and cartoons, make both Urban Pop & Pantone Pop bright, fun transitional stories ideal for older and younger boys. Bright technical jackets, bold printed t-shirts, outfitted back with denim and skater shoes; this is the perfect story for the edgy, laid back dude.

By far the coolest trends for older and younger boys this season are the L.A Industry and L.A Haze collections. Geo prints, slogans, character and humour have inspired the collection along with soft colour blocking, making this story really easy to wear. Technical jackets, joggers, t-shirts, and sweats are essential to the look.

Bold prints and statement colour palettes are dominating Next childrenswear collections this Spring, making clothing fun, stylish and exciting!

The event will never be complete without amazing beats, dancing and grooving to the mixes of DJ Lins
